HOW TO REMOVE SHOWER HEAD AND SHOWER ARM

STEP 1REMOVE YOUR CURRENT SHOWER HEAD

Try to unscrew the shower arm with your hand first.

If it's too tight, hold the shower arm in place. Use an adjustable wrench, latch it onto the collar nut and turn it counter clockwise. This should help to release the shower head from the shower arm.

STEP 2REMOVE CURRENT SHOWER ARM

Use both hands and turn the shower arm counter clockwise.

If it’s too tight try using the end of the adjustable wrench to get better leverage to turn the shower arm counter clockwise. This should help loosen and to remove the shower arm. Now you’re ready to install LuxFlow shower head and shower arm.

HOW TO INSTALL SHOWER HEAD AND SHOWER ARM

STEP 1INSTALL THE FLANGE AND THE WASHER

Make sure the washer is tightly fastened to the inside grooves of the flange.

STEP 2INSTALL THE FLANGE ON THE SHOWER ARM

Insert the long end of the shower arm into the front face of the flange.

STEP 3TAPE BOTH ENDS OF THE SHOWER ARM THREADS

Use the provided Teflon tape to wrap (4-5 rounds) the threaded region only.

STEP 4INSTALL NEW SHOWER ARM

Insert and screw the shower arm clockwise into the shower wall.

Use the end of the adjustable wrench to tighten and secure the shower arm.

STEP 5INSTALL NEW LUXFLOW SHOWER HEAD

Screw the shower head clockwise onto the shower arm.

If you decide to tighten the shower head with an adjustable wrench, we highly suggest you cover the joint area first with a rag before tightening to avoid scratching the surface.

WATER LEAKAGE AT THE SWIVEL BALL JOINT?

Tightening the Connection Cap can sometimes fix the problem. If that doesn’t work unscrew the Connection Cap from the swivel ball and look for the O-Ring that is intended to keep water from leaking out. Make sure that the O-Ring is properly seated and even. Also, make sure that the Pivot Seat is appropriately placed around the ball joint

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

It’s important to clean your shower head as needed to prevent lime build up. Please follow the instructions:

Important: Avoid using any harsh chemical, heavy duty cleaners, or hard bristled brushes, etc., which may damage the surface.

  • For minor build ups, use a soft cloth with warm water and gentle soap to scrub off any residue on the shower head.
  • For tough hard water build ups, remove the shower head. Submerge the shower head in a large bowl of vinegar and 1 cup of baking soda for 2-3 hours. When ready, thoroughly rinse both the shower head and the screen washer. Shower head is now ready to be re-installed.

Note: You may also fill a plastic bag up with vinegar and 1 cup of baking soda while the shower head is still connected. Tie the top of the bag and let it soak for 2-3 hours. Rinse thoroughly.
